Frequently Asked Questions

What insurances do you take?

I take Wellmark/ Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Midland’s Choice, Health Partners, and Cigna. I also utilize out-of-network benefits.

How can I schedule a first session?

To schedule your first session, reach out via email, and I will connect you with my client portal. Once you’re an established client, you can access my calendar at your convenience! Sessions typically last about an hour.

What can I expect during a first session?

First sessions typically consist of reviewing consent paperwork, gathering information about your current situation, and discussing your life experiences. There is no pressure to share everything the first time you meet with me, but my hope is to create a safe environment to talk openly about everything. From there, we will create a plan to address the areas of life you want to focus on and how frequently we should meet. For my minor clients, I typically meet with parents and child together for the first half of the session, then individually with the child for the last half.

Do I have to be a Christian or Religious to see you?

Absolutely not! I am open about the framework I operate within, but I have worked with many different backgrounds and demographics and understand that even those from faith communities can have differing beliefs. Counseling is about working through the parts of yourself that hold you back to find health and healing.
